While I realize I haven't updated this blog in a long time and there are many events from the past year I haven't included on the blog, it seemed easier to just skip ahead to now and maybe just talk about the highlights of the last year. About a month after we visited Disneyland Paris and the beautiful city of Paris, Scott and I attended our first military ball in Germany. We had a lot of fun with a lot of great people. It is something we will definitely remember for many years to come. Also in July, our beautiful Kaylee turned 11 years old. We celebrated with a family dinner at Macaroni Grill in Ramstein. In August Lexi turned 3 years old and this year was her turn for a big party. She chose a Curious George theme and we went all out. One again something we will remember for a long time to come. A lot of fun with many wonderful people. Later that month school started. Kaylee started 6th grade, Ethan 2nd and Jayson was off to Kindergarten. I can't believe how fast they are all growing. There went to many things that went on in September. In October we celebrated Halloween which was a lot of fun. November was a busy month for us. Scott and I were able to get away for a weekend In Garmsich which was very nice and very much needed. For Thanksgiving time this year we had a house full. We invited a few single soldiers, friends and even Scott's aunt and cousin that live in Germany. It was a great day that made us all grateful for one another. Jayson's birthday is also in November, this was his year for a family celebration so we went bowling which is something he loves to do! December was a busy month for us. We had another military ball to attend, our FRG Christmas party, preparing for our move back to the states and of course Christmas. All of which were a lot of fun well minus the preparing for the move. Our last Christmas in Germany was wonderful even though there wasnt really much snow. In January things got CRAZY beginning with the first shipment of our move. We celebrated Ethan's 8th birthday with cake but he wanted to wait until we were back in the states and could go to Chuck E Cheese to really celebrate. For my birthday later in the month we went to dinner then enjoyed the delicious cheesecake Scott made for me. The next few weeks were filled with dr appts, house cleaning and everything else that goes along with a move across the ocean.
